Services – Serenity Care

Serenity Care

Services

Residents are cared for by a General Practitioner of their choice. Residents are facilitated to maintain their own general practitioner unless the general practitioner is unable to attend the nursing home. In this case, residents will be provided with information about general practitioners in the area.

The frequency of rounds and availability of our own General Practitioner ensures trusted relationships are formed and consistency of care is established. All residents are formally reviewed at a minimum of every 4 months as per legislation, regulation, and standards.

In addition to nursing and medical services, we provide occupational and physiotherapy services in-house. We also facilitate access to dietician, speech and language therapy, psychology & chiropody services in accordance with residents’ assessed needs. Additional specialist services that can be accessed for residents include dental, ophthalmology, and audiology services. Other services are accessed through the Health Services Executive (limited service provided) or on a private basis. Access to any of these services on a private basis can be arranged for residents.
