What We Do at Serenity Care

Our Model of Care

At Serenity Care, we blend specific therapeutic, developmental, and social care frameworks to guide understanding and responding to each person’s needs. These principles allow us to take a flexible, creative, whole-person approach that values lived experience, nurtures wellbeing, and fosters genuine inclusion. We provide compassionate, person-led support to neurodivergent children and adults and individuals with a wide range of support needs.

Our approach is holistic, inclusive, and deeply respectful of each individual’s identity, preferences, and aspirations. We tailor our services to promote autonomy, wellbeing, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

We understand that each person’s experience is shaped by a range of factors—from their personal strengths to their environments and the activities that give their life meaning. That is why we focus on building strong relationships, creating supportive settings, and enabling access to opportunities that matter.

Whether supporting someone in moments of crisis or providing ongoing, community-based care, we bring together clinical knowledge, therapeutic experience, and a responsive, strengths-based approach. Our team works collaboratively across disciplines to ensure each person receives the support they need—when and how they need it.

At Serenity Care, we see difference as diversity—not deficit—and are committed to helping everyone we support thrive

Serenity Care Rathdrum supports up to five residents in a warm, welcoming setting, while Serenity Care Tumana, County Kildare, offers a similarly personalised setting for up to two individuals. Both centres are HIQA‑registered and focused on empowering each resident’s unique journey.
